The first key ingredient in Odaban is aluminium chloride. This is present in all antiperspirants and has long been known to be effective for reducing sweating.
How Is Odaban Different?
What makes Odaban different is that it comes in a spray form and is not water based, it is instead silicone based.
This is claimed to make it kinder to the skin compared to regular rollons. The only problem with silicone is that it takes longer to dry out. This is why silicone lubricants, for example, are often favoured over water based lubricants.
What Are The Alternatives?
First of all, there are many clinical rollons which many people use such as Drysol. Although Odaban claims to give less irritation, only you can determine this for yourself.
There are also many, many other approaches to curing excessive sweating which you can find on this site. I would especially recommend these if you are not comfortable with a long term dependency on aluminum chloride, the active ingredient of most antiperspirants.
