Sweating Testicles – How To Manage Sweaty Balls

Sweating testicles are not so uncommon. Many guys I have spoken to have had sweaty balls at some time or other, including myself.

In medical terms, any sweat from the groin is actually a type of “truncal hyperhidrosis“. Anyway, definitions won’t help you or I so let’s move on to some tips.

Sweaty balls are when your testicles sweat and then rub against the inside of your thighs. When scrotum skin becomes moist, then it will drag itself across any touching surfaces and eventually 2 small spots on the inside of your thighs will start to rub and become raw and painful.

How Can You Stop Sweating Testicles?

The scrotum is sensitive skin so I don’t recommend using any kind of antiperspirant on them, even a medical grade one. The last thing you want is an itchy or burning sensation down there!

Your groin will start to sweat as soon as you get out of the shower so finish your shower with colder water to reduce any sweating to a minimum.

Next, put a light dusting of talc onto the inside of your thighs. No doubt you know the exact spot to apply the talc to.

Wear cotton underwear – very important.

Avoid loose fitting boxer shorts. Instead, wear snug boxer shorts or briefs. These will prevent your scrotum from touching the insides of your thighs.

Don’t shave your balls. Although this might help reduce sweating it will also increase the chafing of the skin, which is the outcome we are trying to avoid.

Wash thoroughly. Most people do not give this area enough attention and bacteria and sweat can remain even after soaping. Wash the area thoroughly with soap and rinse and then reapply the soap and rinse again. Use very warm water but remember to finish your shower with colder water, as explained earlier.

Wash after any exercise or activity. I once made the mistake of travelling an hour by plane and not showering when I hit the hotel. I just wanted to experience this new city straight away. 3 hours later on a summer afternoon I paid for that with extreme pains and difficulty walking! I highly recommend you wash after any activity such as the extended walking while I was travelling.
